Modules at MIAW
Biography
Dr. Soo-Min Park leads the generative design, communication, and documentation modules at MIAW. Her research investigates how large language models function as active collaborators in the design process — not as autocomplete tools, but as structured reasoning partners capable of maintaining project context across phases.
She holds a doctorate in architectural computation and has contributed to open-source tooling for architect-facing LLM integrations, including MCP server implementations for parametric design environments. Her work bridges the gap between NLP research and the practical needs of design professionals.
At MIAW she leads Modules F3, F5, and F6 — covering generative design with LLMs, AI-augmented communication workflows, and automated design documentation.
